Responsibilities
External Warehouse Operations
- Supervise receiving and storage of finished goods in external warehouse facilities, ensuring proper documentation and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure efficient warehouse space utilization, stock rotation, and timely replenishment.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks, cycle counts, and audits to maintain accuracy.
- Implement best practices in warehouse operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee customs-related processes and documentation in line with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate disposal processes for expired/damaged stock, ensuring warehouse hygiene and compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing, picking, and dispatch.
- Optimize truck scheduling and loading operations to improve turnaround times.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Distribution, Sales, and Quality teams) to meet business needs.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and warehouse efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Leverage technology (SAP, WMS) to streamline warehouse operations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of warehouse activities.
- Provide guidance and support to warehouse personnel to enhance operational performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), digital tools and automation solutions is an advantage.
- Experience in dealing with bonded goods will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving with a data driven mindset and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work collaboratively across teams to drive operational improvements.
- Project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Effective communication and training delivery ability.
