To meet the rapidly growing service business in Malaysia, we are hiring highly motivated personnel to join our Water Quality Platform (Hach Malaysia) supply chain team as the Assistant Manager, Supply Chain. The position provides candidates an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to Danaher Business System (DBS) and develop problem-solving skills, leadership and acquire business strategy knowledge. We are looking for dedicated personnel with a minimum of 4-6 years of work experience in similar fields to grab the growth opportunities in this growing segment.
Purpose Of the Position
The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholder to ensure end-to-end operation processes are executed accordingly.
The ideal candidate is proactive and has good experience in understanding all SCM activities for the country, from planning, stock purchases both local and imports, custom clearance, and receipt of stocks into warehouses, storage and warehouse management, product picking and dispatching.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage all SCM activities for the country, from planning, stock purchases both local and imports, custom clearance, and receipt of stocks into warehouses, storage and warehouse management, product picking and dispatching.
- Work closely with commercial teams to anticipate and balance demands for sales, orders and optimal stock levels
- Train and supervise the supply chain team members to achieve high competency levels
- Seek process and policy improvements to optimize the overall cost and efficiency of the supply chain
- Monitor and review the delivery standards and service quality of vendors and service providers
- Minimum qualification: Degree in Supply Chain, Logistic or related
- 4-6 years of experience in supply chain operations, purchasing, logistics, warehouse & distribution etc.
- Exposure to the trading or import-export sectors, good knowledge on shipping documents, shipping terms, marine insurance etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and commercial acumen to make sound judgement and decision
