Job summary:
Responsible for sales and marketing for Coating industry, maintaining current market share in existing customers, growing and developing new customers to increase market share, managing clients, and report on current market developments while maintaining routine visit reports.

Responsible for sales and marketing for Coating industry, maintaining current market share in existing customers, growing and developing new customers to increase market share, managing clients, and report on current market developments while maintaining routine visit reports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Regularly engage with customers to understand business needs and offer solutions.
- Ensuring the profitability of the BL.
- Actively identify, prospect and pursue new customer opportunities within the target market.
- Driving growth and establishing strong pipeline of the responsible clients.
- Formulating and implementation of business plans to expand the market share.
- Monitor and manage stock inventories to ensure at optimal level.
- Monitor and manage customers’ credit and payment ensure account receivable at agreed level.
- Prepare monthly forecast, reports and projects update according to Business Unit requirement.
- Market awareness and feedback on industry trends and competition activities.
- Firm grasp of costing/margins and sound negotiation skills with suppliers and customers
- Expertise in coating, and potentially to explore to other industries eg electronics.
- Willingness to travel nationwide independently (West/East Malaysia)
- Prior working experience of minimum 3 years within the Coatings related industries
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or any related field
- Demonstrate good working knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
- Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
