Responsibilities

  • Assist APAC Technical Manager in project planning and execution, including defining project scopes, setting timelines and milestones, allocating resources within the team, and ensuring that deliverables are met within timeline.
  • Provide technical reporting and support to Sales and Marketing in terms of product recommendations, develop testing methodologies, product line chemistries, and chemical deployment.
  • Assist in tender preparation.
  • Interact with both internal and external customers, prepare customer presentations and trainings.
  • Provide field support and customer visits based on project needs.
  • Lead laboratory projects from start to finish with minimal supervision from APAC Technical Manager.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities in the laboratory ensuring company standards in QESHA are met, ensure laboratory equipment is fully maintained and compliance during the audits.
  • Provide hands-on team leadership within laboratory team, provide guidance and ensure the successful execution of high-priority lab projects.

Requirements

  • BSc Hons degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other science related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in oilfield upstream production chemicals. A focus of Flow Assurance and/or Integrity disciplines is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant product lines, product application and testing,
  • Experience of standard modelling software such as MultiFlash and ScaleChem.
  • Excellent prioritization skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build relationships, and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior members of technical team.
