Job Purpose

Operate steam boiler and ensure safety operating procedure are compliant to DOSH/JKKP and Factory and Machinery Act 1967

Key Accountabilitie

1. sOversee the boiler operation and auxiliary equipment are at optimum operating conditio
2. nResponsible the start-up and shutdown of utilities system, ensuring seamless and safe operation
3. sMaintain and monitor boiler and cooling tower water treatment and analysis program
4. sInvolve in annual inspection activities with regards to the maintenance, checking, repair and commissionin
5. gRespond promptly to boiler breakdowns, perform necessary repairs, and restore operations efficientl
6. yReport any intentional or unintentional damage immediately to superior for appropriate actio
7. nResponsible in routine monitoring and operation of boiler and utility systems, ensuring that checklists, logbooks, and reports are accurately maintained and updated
8. .Support on periodic inspections of the steam distribution system during both production and non-production periods, ensuring optimal performance of pressure-reducing stations, valves, safety valves, and steam trap
9. sRespond and support utilities equipment breakdow
10. nSupervise external contractor’s works/services and monitor their performance
11. .Perform other ad hoc tasks and assignments as directed by the superior from time to tim
