Through this program, Carlsberg Malaysia Apprentices will be able to:

- Carry out preventative maintenance and routine scheduling servicing in accordance with the COM and manufacturers recommendations.
- Deal with machine breakdowns and effect repairs to ensure minimum down time.
- Trouble shoot and fault find any defects on machines and carry out repairs as necessary.
- Involve in line overhaul scheduling work may be needed from time to time
- Involve maintenance document updating accordance COM requirement
- Updating and maintaining accurate information on the company IT maintenance systems.
- Management of maintenance & repair sub contractors (as and when required)
- Active to have good 5S housekeeping standard in maintenance department
- Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company.
- Carry out other reasonable requests made by the line manager to support departmental or company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health & Safety are complied with.
- Observe and comply with all good working practices.
Brewing & Processing
- Understand brewing & processing basic operation/function.
- Involved in implementation of New Product Development, improvement projects.
- To assist in excellence culture implementation.
- Hands on job is expected.
Financial Recovery & Compliance
- Assist with drafting and issuance of legal documents
- Assist and participate in monthly risk assessment meetings
- Liaising with external lawyers on litigation matters and preparation of monthly legal report
- Will have the opportunity to learn & work on financial recovery matters, including negotiations, settlement
- arrangements, forecasting & analysis of monthly recovery figures and others
- Assist and participate with internal and external audit exercise as and when needed
- Work with internal & external stakeholders on collecting data for day-to-day
- Assist on compliance activities such as trainings and event
- Work with internal and external stakeholders on tasks required for ISO certification such as assisting on drafting
- policy, controls, and facilitating audits
- Assist on administrative and other ad-hoc tasks as needed
Marketing
Brand Marketing
- Implement marketing initiatives to support the brand’s objectives
- Support in marketing and brand planning process
- Ensure marketing activities is aligned with the agreed brand positioning strategy
- Facilitate effective communication with internal stakeholders (eg: Sales, Supply Chain, Group Communications) and external partners (eg: agencies)
- Assist in managing marketing budget for the brand, track Profit & Loss (P&L) to ensure spending stays within the allocated budget.
- Produce and maintain various marketing reports (daily, weekly and monthly) as required
- Maintain accurate record of marketing reports and expenses
- Assist in analyzing marketing reports and provide insights to line manager and the team under guidance
- Support the planning and execution of marketing events, including coordinating logistics, liaising with vendors, and assisting with on-site setup and operations as needed.
- Take ownership of assigned responsibility and support ad-hoc tasks as directed by line manager and/ or Management
- Support line manager and the team to plan, execute and monitor channel strategies implementation
- Maintain a good record on marketing reports and expenses
- Analyse reports and provide insights to line manager and the team from time to time
- Support in follow up follow through with key stakeholders and arrange to ensure collaterals deliver on time for sales execution.
- Coordinate and consolidate the execution of national marketing activities, channel initiatives and customer activities.
- Support the preparation of promo selling story, mechanics and promo bulletin for sales execution
- Assume responsibility and ad-hoc tasks as directed by line manager and/ or Management
Contract Management
On-Trade Contract Management
- Responsible for preparation of On-Trade contracts upon customer acceptance of Business Proposal, and ensure that relevant supporting documents of business entities are in place, in accordance to company control framework
- Act as finance business partners to commercial team on contract related queries and issues, with problem solving mindset
- Ensure timely and accurate rebate vouchers issuance to customers, in accordance to company’s policies and procedures
- Maintain complete digital database of customer contracts and relevant supporting in Contract Management System (CMS)
- Participate and contribute in process improvement initiatives relating to contract management
- Assist in yearly audit with external auditors, including but not limited to:
- To assist in executing auditors’ audit plan, by providing relevant supporting documents
- Perform reconciliation of CMS discount accruals vs balance sheet balance in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system on a monthly basis.
- Ensure monthly discount accruals in CMS are completed timely, accurately and in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.
- Finance business partner to commercial team for any queries relating to CMS.
