Qualifications:

• Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in research and development field.
  • Strong knowledge of personal care formulations, as well as experience with industry regulations and standards (GMP, ISO, Halal and Cosmetic Guidelines) are a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in research and development of products.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques.
• Communication:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Problem-Solving:

• Strong problem-solving skill and the ability to think critically and creatively.

• Adaptability:

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

• Language:

• Proficiency in English and Malay. Additional language skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development

• Conduct research and development projects to advance our product offerings and develop novel processes.

• Experiment Design

• Plan, design, and execute experiments to solve problems and develop new formulations. Assist in managing the R&D budget and resources effectively to achieve project goals while controlling costs.

• Data Analysis

• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and draw meaningful conclusions to guide research directions.

4. Quality Control

• Ensure the quality and consistency of products through rigorous testing and analysis.

5.Documentation

• Maintain detailed records of experiments, findings, and procedures, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

6.Collaboration

• Work closely with Business Development team to understand consumer needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality raw materials and ingredients for product development.
• Collaborate with production to ensure scalable manufacturing processes.
