About The Role
Lenovo is seeking an experienced and visionary Cloud Native Development Architect to lead the design and evolution of its enterprise-grade cloud-native platform. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Lenovo’s container orchestration, DevOps automation, and microservices infrastructure. You’ll work across global teams to build scalable, secure, and developer-friendly PaaS solutions that power Lenovo’s digital transformation.

About The Role
Lenovo is seeking an experienced and visionary Cloud Native Development Architect to lead the design and evolution of its enterprise-grade cloud-native platform. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Lenovo’s container orchestration, DevOps automation, and microservices infrastructure. You’ll work across global teams to build scalable, secure, and developer-friendly PaaS solutions that power Lenovo’s digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development Technical Leadership - Architect and develop core components of Lenovo’s cloud-native platform, including Kubernetes orchestration, DevOps toolchains, and microservices frameworks.
- Design platform capabilities that ensure high scalability, availability, and agility for enterprise workloads.
- Drive platform innovation through open-source contributions and adoption of cloud-native best practices.
- Global Team Collaboration - Collaborate with development teams across Malaysia, Singapore, and other global regions to ensure consistent architecture and delivery.
- Define reusable architectural patterns, shared libraries, and standardized CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership across engineering teams.
- Customer Business Support - Partner with product and solution teams to understand customer needs and deliver adaptable platform solutions.
- Support cloud-native transformation initiatives for enterprise clients and internal cloud products.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with a strong focus on cloud-native architecture and platform engineering.
- Proficient in Java and Go, with deep experience in Spring and Spring Cloud frameworks.
- Familiar with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and modern CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and Scrum-based agile methodologies.
- Deep knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem including Helm, Prometheus, Istio, and Kubernetes Operators.
- Experience with microservices architecture, API gateways, service mesh, and distributed system design.
- Proven track record in building and operating PaaS platforms with a focus on reliability, security, and developer experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional and global teams.
