As a Cluster Head Nurse (Community Healthcare), you will be responsible for the following duties:
Strategic Planning and Implementation:
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing services to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Develop a strategic plan outlining goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for service delivery.
- Create a detailed action plan with timelines, responsibilities, and resources needed for each initiative.
- Communicate the strategic plan to all stakeholders and ensure alignment across the organization.
Leadership and Staff Support:
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by encouraging open communication and collaboration.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to empower staff and enhance their skills.
- Regularly meet with department staff to address challenges, provide guidance, and celebrate successes.
- Implement a feedback mechanism to continuously improve leadership effectiveness.
Operational and Financial Performance:
- Establish a dashboard to track operational and financial KPIs across the clinic network.
- Conduct regular reviews of performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze financial reports to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality care.
- Develop initiatives to enhance patient throughput and optimize resource utilization.
Risk Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential operational and financial risks.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize exposure and ensure business continuity.
- Encourage staff to participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide a platform for sharing ideas.
- Implement changes based on feedback and data analysis to enhance operational efficiency.
Marketing and Communication:
- Oversee the development of all patient-facing communications to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote services effectively and engage patients.
- Ensure that all marketing materials comply with relevant government and legal requirements.
- Regularly review policies and procedures to align with regulatory changes.
Clinical Performance and Training:
- Define and monitor clinical KPIs to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Facilitate training for staff on best practices and compliance with clinical protocols.
- Organize Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training for clinical staff.
- Ensure all staff are updated on emergency protocols and response procedures.
Conflict Management and Compliance:
- Develop strong relationships with Medical Directors to manage expectations and resolve conflicts.
- Schedule regular check-ins to discuss operational concerns and align on strategic goals.
- Maintain a tracking system for nephrologist licensing and ensure timely updates to practicing licenses.
Budgeting and Financial Planning:
- Participate in the annual budgeting process by providing data-driven insights and forecasts.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure budgets align with strategic objectives and operational needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Min. Diploma in Nursing.
- Must have valid full registration with Malaysia Nursing Board.
- Posses with post basic will be an advantages.
- Possess total of 5 years of work experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
