Job Responsibility

Responsibility

Â

  • To operate precision machines and perform equipment maintanance

Â

  • To check all tooling, gauges and program are correct before commencing jobs

Â

  • To set up and read through the programming, as well as make program alterations on minor error encounters

Â

  • To verifying dimensions and alignment of assembly, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, height gauges and gauges blocks

Â

  • To inspecting and measuring parts to gather statistical process control data

Â

  • To ensure that machining work carried out meet the required quality as stated in the respective manuals and technical documents

Â

  • To confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems

Â

  • Ensure that regular maintenanceis conducted in a planned and timely manner

Job Requirements

Competency

  • Experience in programme and operate CNC Milling / Lathe / Turning

Â

  • Able to interpret geometrical drawings and dimension tolerances

Â

  • Able to machine different material such as metal, aluminium, engineering plastics and etc.

 Â

  • Knowledge of prgrams, macros, CAM software and GDT

Â

  • Able to recognize errors in the G-code and make edits prior to machining the work piece

Â

  • Able to communicate effectively with wide variety of internal and external customers

Â

  • High patient person, willingness to learn new things, positive attitude with âcan doâ mindset
