Construction / Project Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction / Project Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the engineering and execution phases of major offshore and onshore fabrication, shipyard, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-disciplinary project management, construction execution, and engineering integration ensuring all project activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with technical and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the project engineering and construction execution from planning through delivery.
• Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, and resource strategies to meet project milestones and budget targets.
• Coordinate and integrate the efforts of engineering, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning teams.
• Provide technical leadership, ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet client specifications, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans.
• Liaise closely with clients, contractors, classification societies, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives.
• Lead and guide construction teams to achieve safe, high-quality, and cost-effective execution.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, construction methods, and work packs prior to execution.
• Ensure all site activities are performed in accordance with HSE standards and project-specific safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practice implementation across projects.
• Manage, mentor, and develop project engineers and construction supervisors.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or related discipline).
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in project engineering, construction management, or fabrication projects within the oil & gas, offshore, or heavy marine industry.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale EPC / EPCI projects.
• Strong technical knowledge in structural, piping, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Familiar with industry codes and standards (API, ASME, AWS, ABS, DNV, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
