Position Summary: The Content Director will lead the development and execution of the company’s content strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and audience needs. This role demands a visionary leader who can oversee content creation across multiple platforms, drive innovation, and engage diverse audiences effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Content Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, mission, and growth objectives.
  • Identify and explore new content opportunities, formats, and platforms to increase audience reach and engagement.
  • Ensure all content reflects the brand’s tone, values, and standards while appealing to target demographics.

2. Cross-Platform Content Management

  • Oversee content development for TV, digital platforms, social media, events, and any emerging media channels.
  • Ensure seamless integration of content across platforms for a cohesive audience experience.
  • Collaborate with production, marketing, and sales teams to align content initiatives with broader business goals.

3. Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of content creators, producers, and editors to deliver high-quality, impactful work.
  • Provide guidance on creative direction, storytelling techniques, and content optimization.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the content team.

4. Market and Audience Insights

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience behaviors to inform content planning.
  • Use analytics and audience feedback to refine content strategies and ensure ROI.
  • Partner with data teams to identify key metrics and track content performance.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior leadership to align content goals with overall business strategies.
  • Liaise with advertisers, sponsors, and partners to create collaborative and branded content opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate content-related initiatives.

Requirements:

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in content creation, media production, or editorial roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in managing content across multiple platforms, including TV and digital.

  • Strong storytelling and creative vision, with an eye for quality and detail.
  • Deep understanding of digital trends, audience engagement strategies, and multimedia production.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
