Course Counsellor (Adult Learners)

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our team at SEGi College Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will focus on the adult learner market and drive enrolment in our part-time and continued education programmes, particularly targeting working adults. This role requires strong communication skills, understanding the adult education sector, and building relationships with prospective students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Generation: Identify and engage with potential students interested in continued education and part-time programmes through various channels (online, events, partnerships).
• Consultative Selling: Provide prospective students with personalised consultation, understand their needs, career goals, and educational requirements, and recommend suitable programmes.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential students, corporate clients, and educational partners to drive enrolment.
• Sales Targets: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the adult learning programmes.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and the needs of the adult learner market.
• Event Participation: Represent SEGi College Kuala Lumpur at education fairs, corporate events, and other promotional activities to attract potential students.
• Follow-Up: Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and ensure a smooth enrolment process for students.
• Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, track performance metrics, and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the education sector or with a focus on adult learners.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of adult education trends and the needs of working adults.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
• Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
