Field Service Representative – Analyzer

Location: TO BE STATIONED IN BINTULU

Job Summary:

The Field Service Representative is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation used in various oil and gas fields. This role involves extensive travel to client sites (offshore & onshore) to provide technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance and Repair:

- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections.

- Diagnose technical issues and implement effective repair solutions.

2 Installation and Calibration:

- Set up newly purchased equipment and ensure accurate calibration.

- Provide technical training to the end-users on proper operation and maintenance.

3. Customer Support:

- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests.

- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during all interactions.

4. Documentation:

- Maintain detailed records of service visits timesheet for claim purpose, including maintenance history and repair report.

- Prepare routine service reports and communicate findings to customers and internal teams.

5. Product Knowledge:

- Stay updated with technological advancements and updates related to analytical equipment.

- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related field (such as Engineering, Chemistry, or Electronics) or equivalent experience.

- Proven experience in service or repair of analytical instruments. Note: Fresh grade will be consider with minimum practical field instrument knowledge during industrial placement.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and manage a schedule of service visits.

- Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.

- Valid driver’s license.

Added advantage & Skills:

- Familiarity with various analytical instruments used in the industry (e.g., GC, TDLAS)
