- Direct the preparation of financial statement, internal accounting schedules and various management financial reports.
- Develop and administer cost accounting systems. Initiate procedures and direct the taking and costing of physical inventories.
- Ensure invoices are sent to debtors on a timely basis. Protect cash flow by keeping outstanding debts to a minimum and taking advantage of credit terms supplied by creditors.
- Select, train and measure the performance of key employees in the department.
- Maintain a basic knowledge of all local laws pertaining to hotel operations.
- Able to speak, read & write in Malay, English & Mandarin - to effectively communicate with English-speaking & Mandarin-speaking clients.
