A multinational manufacturer with operations in numerous countries, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will be the key point of contact for the APAC Team. You will have the chance to build relationships across the business, provide valuable financial support and analysis, and drive improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, your role will be pivotal in steering the financial direction of the client's APAC operations. You will be responsible for analysing month-end results, producing bridging and commentary between actuals, budgets, and forecasts, as well as leading analysis of all areas of the P&L. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast process for the APAC region. Furthermore, you will support investment appraisals within the sites, offering guidance where required.

  • Analyse and interpret month-end results to provide detailed analysis and insight into variances in sales, margin, overhead and working capital.
  • Produce bridging and commentary between Actuals, Budgets and Forecasts.
  • Lead analysis of all areas of the P&L to identify opportunities and propose actions to improve profitability of APAC Region.
  • Own the Capex control & reporting process to identify spending risks.
  • Deliver the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast process for APAC region.
  • Support investment appraisals within the sites and offer guidance where required.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this Financial Planning & Analysis Manager position brings a wealth of experience in financial planning roles within a manufacturing environment. You possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance or are a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with good academics & experience. Your ability to work with non-financial stakeholders to provide value-adding financial support is exceptional. You are highly organised with a structured approach to coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously. Your presentation skills are top-notch, and you are comfortable presenting to and receiving challenges from senior management.

  • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance or Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with good academics & experience (c5 yrs + PQE).
  • Previous experience within a financial planning role and/or FP&A Manager role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of working with stakeholders of differing levels of seniority up to and including directors.
  • Ability to work with non-financial stakeholders to provide value adding financial support, challenge and analysis.
  • Highly organised / structured approach, with the ability to co-ordinate a large number tasks simultaneously.
  • Good Powerpoint and presenting skills, comfortable presenting to, and receiving challenge from, senior management.
