Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual business planning and ensure purposeful objectives are set and developed.
- Lead Malaysia and Brunei strategy in support of the regional and country’s strategic brand and business plan to grow category and market share.
- Lead direct reporting team of Sales Manager and Sales Executives towards the execution of sales and marketing activities to drive market leading growth and deliver against business goals.
- Manage distributors with excellence in go to market model in selected market to drive market leadership and growth trajectory.
- Participate in top-to-top management business reviews with key accounts, Health Care Professionals, providing a consolidated view regional, and country implications and opportunities.
- Build strong customer and internal stakeholder relationships to develop the joint business efforts to a higher level of collaboration and growth, facilitating Johnson & Johnson MedTech to become preferred partner of choice.
- Ensure team activities and programs are healthcare compliant and Credo based.
- Lead and execute commercial strategies, go-to-market capabilities and provide coaching to grow team’s development and competency, bench strength and succession pipeline.
- Responsible for all sales and marketing activities to achieve the business objectives within business policies and guidelines as well as the departmental budget.
- Manage daily advertising and sales promotion activities.
- Provide input for the development of products and anticipate a customer need/solution approach.
- Develop and implement sales processes and pricing models.
- Coach and mentor subordinate and appraise subordinate performance.
- Communicate and track short- and long-range sales and marketing plans.
- Partner with Commercial Lead and Marketing Manager to implement marketing objectives, policies, sales organization structure, sales and marketing programs to achieve maximum sales and profit.
- Research new markets and applications for volume growth.
- This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.
- This role would oversee 4-7 direct reports underneath.
- Education background: Bachelor’s degree and above.
- Experienced Sales personnel with 8-10 coming from medical device company are encouraged to apply.
- Strong business development experience and good sales track record.
- Strong leadership and ability to influence across teams and reporting lines.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with strong ability to influence.
- Global Leadership (think global/regional, act local) Orientation and ability to drive high performance, simplicity in a complex environment.
- Results and Performance Driven.
- Travelling is required.
