Job Overview

St Joseph’s Institution International School (SJIIS) is a Lasallian International School (3 to 18 years). It prepares students for the IGCSE and A Level Programme examinations with an emphasis upon research-based teaching pedagogy and a character-building programme of activities inspired by the school’s Lasallian heritage. This includes service learning initiatives, and a holistic approach to sport, music and the arts.

SJIIS is seeking an outstanding and inspirational General Science Teacher whose passion and practical experience will transform the outcomes of our students. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to join the staff of this ambitious and developing international school.

Experience of teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) Science and IGCSE Coordinated Science is essential.

Experience teaching at least two of the following is a distinct advantage:

• IGCSE Chemistry
• IGCSE Physics
• IGCSE Biology
  
  

Experience teaching Science at A Level is also an advantage.

• To teach pupils assigned to your class within the school and carry out duties as required by the Head of Department

• Ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reports meet the expectations of the school
