Our client is seeking a seasoned Head of Supply Chain to lead their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to shape and execute strategic plans in collaboration with the regional supply chain team, ensuring optimal service levels across all aspects of the supply chain. From demand planning and imports supply planning to inventory management and control, logistics & transport operations, and warehouse management systems, your expertise will be pivotal in driving success.

What You'll Do

As the Head of Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our client's operations. Your leadership will guide the Supply Chain team in executing functional strategic plans, managing relationships with third-party suppliers, and ensuring optimal customer service. You will also be instrumental in identifying areas for improvement within the logistics process and facilitating projects aimed at enhancing efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain management within the FMCG sector, coupled with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

  • Collaborate with APAC Supply Chain Team to develop and execute short, medium- and long-term strategy of Planning and Logistics operations.
  • Lead, mentor and support the Supply Chain staff to ensure the management processes meet optimal service levels.
  • Manage customer service representatives, handling escalated customer issues, developing strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure unparalleled Customer Service experience for our customers to drive sales through Supply Chain stability.
  • Be responsible for contract management with suppliers.
  • Identify and optimize the end-to-end logistics processes.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement projects.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this Head of Supply Chain position brings over a decade of experience in supply chain management within the FMCG sector. Your extensive knowledge of customs regulations, free trade zones requirements, import/export regulations will be invaluable in this role. Your ability to manage relationships with third-party suppliers and stakeholders is key to achieving success. Your proven track record in leading teams, improving customer satisfaction levels, and optimising logistics processes sets you apart as an industry leader.

  • 10+ years’ supply chain management experience in FMCG
  • Strong knowledge on the ins and outs of Custom and Free Trade Zones requirements, and Import/ Export Regulations
  • Excellent in managing relationship with Third Party Suppliers and related stakeholders
