Purpose of role:
This role support and leads IDP channel growth. Ensures ASEs team are motivated and are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support to perform and execute effectively. Demonstrate the culture of performance, customer focus and execution.
The position requires strong leadership ability, with in-depth cross-channel knowledge of Sales, New Business Opportunity, Distribution Expansion and Retailer E-Commerce. This role will be responsible for establish and implement strategies that have short to mid-term impact on business results in alignment with organization objective to achieve sales, distribution expansion, profitability and growth target and key budget
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure Annual strategic Sales Plan deliver as per targets
- Drive the discipline of delivering fundamentals of Distribution, Pricing, Shelving and Merchandising (DPSM)
- New Business Expansion, Recovery of Lapsed Stores - Increase Sell Out and Traffic Footfall to IDP retailers to accelerate business growth
- Able to leverage on SFE tools to lead and develop coverage plans and build clear tracking on ASEs Coverage, Productivity and NPD/ EPD expansion plans
- Conduct monthly sales review with Top Customers and collaborate internally with Marketing and Trade Marketing to develop channel/customer specific plans
- Management of trade investment budgets with tight controls
- Demonstrate and foster entrepreneurial spirit by continuously identifying, addressing, and executing on identified opportunities and mitigation of risks.
- Coordinating the gathering of market intelligence covering competitors' products, sales strategies and provide recommendations.
- Step change Selling and Channel Analytics capabilities within the ASE Team
Who are you?
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree and sales experience within FMCG
- Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Proven expertise and record of success in the sales function, including minimum 4-6 years’ experience in sales leadership positions (high-performing teams).
- Knowledge of all aspects of the retail environment (IDP Channel Management, E-commerce, Sales Development). Understand and utilization of Sales force capability tools will be value-added
- Independent, confident and results driven with strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills and strong financial acumen.
- Ability to inspire a sales team and develop a fun and entrepreneurial Sales team Culture
- Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
