Position Overview

Are you ready to grow as a competent Indirect Tax Analyst in a Global Business Services environment? In this role, you will lead APAC indirect tax compliance cycles, ensuring efficient end-to-end compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement while collaborating with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Align closely with the Indirect Tax Manager and global tax team.
• Drive best practice compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement for APAC.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of tax records, returns, reconciliations, and tax codes.
• Lead change management, process transfers, documentation, and resource development.
• Prepare and review indirect tax returns, reports, plausibility checks, and corrections.
• Liaise with data owners and provide tax research, advice, and stakeholder support.
• Maintain systems, update tax coding, and support ERP enhancements.
• Deliver tax training and ensure proper knowledge transfer to new hires.
• Ensure correct tax accounting and reconciliation of control accounts.
• Validate tools, monitor compliance, and implement legislative changes.
• Conduct root cause analysis, remediation, and lead audits or authority inquiries.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Proven experience in indirect tax (preferably in international or shared services).
• Strong knowledge of indirect tax frameworks across Asia and other regions.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel Pivot Tables, Word, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, to support our operations in China
• Strong business sense, numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Transparent, collaborative, and aligned with stakeholders.
• Able to multi-task, prioritise, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, persistence, and teamwork skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance or Tax with focus on Finance and/or Accounting or equivalent
