Position Title

Location: Menara Maxis, Kuala Lumpur

Duration: 1 Year

Role Overview: The IoT Product Management Protege will support Maxis in establishing and aligning its Internet of Things (IoT) strategy, particularly focusing on 5G and 4G IoT solutions for Smart Mobility and Smart Industries. This role is essential to helping enterprises in Malaysia improve business operations and efficiency while enhancing revenue streams through IoT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

5G IoT Product Lifecycle:

• Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept development to product launch, particularly in the 5G and 4G IoT portfolio.
• Collaborate on the development of Maxis IoT products tailored to corporate, SME, and government sectors.
• Gain exposure to Maxis Enterprise products and develop insights into customers from various sectors.
• Understand the entire product development lifecycle and the process of turning product concepts into marketable solutions.
  
  

Product Development

• Participate in product prototype development, defining Maxis' IoT value proposition, and identifying market opportunities.
• Work on creating unique go-to-market (GTM) plans, business cases, and service creation blueprints.
• Contribute to defining Maxis IoT value proposition.
• Develop GTM plans, business cases, and customer journey enhancements.
• Understand product dependencies, customer journey mapping, and the enhancement of internal and external processes for product launch success.
  
  

Product Launch & Monetization

• Assist in pre-launch testing, executing pilot tests for IoT products, and implementing launch plans.
• Track post-launch results to measure product success and customer satisfaction.
• Enable Sales & GTM readiness for IoT products.
• Support the Proof of Concept (POC) delivery through the development of product delivery and support value chains.
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Engineering (Electrical / Electronic), or a related field.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management, product development, and customer journey design.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product success.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
