Junior Accountant

About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting tasks, including accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), site financials, and invoices. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our Administration and will contribute to the overall efficiency of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions.
• Process and manage invoices.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide support during audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience (added advantage)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferable
