LABORATORY ANALYST

Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical or physical testing and other laboratory activities in a safe, accurate, and competent manner in accordance to ISO 17025 requirements.
• Perform in-house intermediate checks of laboratory equipment and measuring devices.
• Assist chemist and lab analyst in routine laboratory operation.
• Maintain and update accurate records and quality control documents on time.
• Maintain and upkeep the cleanliness and safety of the laboratory.
• Clean and maintain all testing apparatus and equipment.
• Help with administrative tasks when needed.
• Assist in field sampling in case in the absence of field technician

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Science or equivalent.
• Knowledge in Microbiology/Chemistry will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP).
• Self starter and pro-active
• Result oriented and able to work under pressure.
• A good team player
• Work experience in related capacity is not necessary but will be an added advantage
• Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
