Lorry Driver

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations.
2. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
3. Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and in good working condition.
4. Assist with loading and unloading cargo as necessary.
5. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
6. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.
7. Provide excellent customer service to clients when required.
8. Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle issues to management immediately.
9. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver's and GDL license with a clean driving record.
2. Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial setting.
3. Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
4. Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
5. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects when needed.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
9. High school diploma or equivalent.
