Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Management Trainee to join our team. The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to prepare them for a leadership role in managing store areas and supervising teams. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop their management skills and advance their careers in retail operations.

Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within our multinational team, with proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia (or other local languages) beneficial for regional stakeholder communication.
  • FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOMED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail or a supervisory role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with retail management software and systems.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Tasks & responsibilities

Training and Development:

  • Participate in a structured training program to gain an in-depth understanding of store operations, including inventory management, sales strategies, and customer service.
  • Learn and apply best practices for managing store areas and supervising staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Operational Support:

  • Assist store area managers and supervisors in daily operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Monitor and support store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Team Management:

  • Support and motivate store staff to achieve performance goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to new hires and existing team members.

Customer Service:

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Promote a positive customer experience by ensuring store cleanliness, product availability, and efficient checkout processes.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Assist in generating and analyzing reports related to store performance, sales metrics, and inventory levels.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve store operations and achieve business objectives.
