Manager, Business Development (Manufacturing)

Major Responsibilities

1. Plan, prepare and undertake project feasibility studies and prepare business proposals to support the implementation plan for Manufacturing economic clusters identified under the ECER Master Plan.
2. Coordinate and track formulation and implementation of Business Strategy and Implementation Plan (BSIP).
3. Facilitate and monitor the development of implementation work plans and on-going programmes and projects for Manufacturing economic clusters.
4. Liaise with the Federal and State Governments, Statutory Bodies, Authorities, Agencies and other Stakeholders Statutory Bodies, Authorities, Agencies and other Stakeholders in relation to the project implementation programmes.
5. Conduct research, compile and provide analysis on economic data from external and internal sources and produce presentations and reports for management consumption on economic cluster identified for ECER.
6. Develop and maintain good relationships with relevant government agencies, industry associations and external agencies.
7. Highlight policy changes by Federal, State & Local authorities to the Management and to disseminate the changes within the organization.
8. Act as the Secretariat to the Industrial Park Management Committee (IPMC) which deliberate matters pertaining to the ECER Industrial Parks and make recommendation to the ECERDC Management on the park maintenance & operation, commercial development and investment.

Position Requirements

1. Possess a Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/ Finance/Economics or any other related discipline from a recognised University.
2. Minimum six (6) years of working experience in corporate finance/business or strategic planning/programme management.
3. Experience in related industries such as Tourism, Manufacturing and Agribusiness is an added advantage.
4. Wide business knowledge across industries.
5. Familiar with the preparation of board papers/management and proposals, tender documents and involved in project evaluation.
6. Key competencies required are stakeholder management, results focused, teamwork & collaboration, organizational commitment and strategic business focus.
7. Willing to travel.
