About The Job

We are looking for a Manger to lead a team of Project Managers in Engineering & Supply (E&S) South East Asia and to participate in project management in accordance with Alfa Laval's engineering policies and methodologies to reach desired goals. To ensure efficiency and professionalism in Project Management team for optimal support in bid-phase and project execution.

As a Manager, the main responsibility is ensuring that all the projects executed by the team is delivered according to the technical scope, to customer’s requirements, on schedule, within budget and fulfilling all contractual obligations. The Manager is working in project tasks together with the other project teams and other departments which are supporting the project execution. Main project tasks are project control & planning, budget follow up, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electricity & automation, technical & quality documentation, purchasing & logistics, document control, etc. The work includes travelling.

Responsibilities

  • Select, lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professional Project Managers to ensure that all projects are executed on-time, within budget, and on spec.
  • Ensure consistent improvement of processes and implementation of tools that enables quality in the processes and deliveries.
  • Ensure that business strategies and goals are met.
  • Utilize technical expertise to coach engineers and support with problem solving.
  • Allocate the project work to the most advisable resources locally, on other E&S sites or at external partners.

  • You have demonstrated experience from working as a project manager in engineering area and applicable technical education (M.Sc./B.Sc.)
