Manager, Warehouse & 3PL (FGS)

The Manager, Warehouse & 3PL is responsible for the end-to-end operations of the warehouse and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships, ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and seamless order fulfillment. This role will oversee warehouse execution, 3PL performance management, and process improvements to support business objectives while maintaining compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee receiving and put-away of finished goods from production, ensuring proper storage and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and warehouse process optimization.
• Implement best practices in warehouse space utilization, picking efficiency, and stock rotation.
• Enforce safety, regulatory, and compliance standards in warehouse operations.
  
  

3PL & External Warehouse Management

• Manage third-party logistics (3PL) service providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs, cost efficiency, and service quality.
• Work closely with external warehouses to ensure accurate inventory control and timely order processing.
• Monitor and evaluate 3PL performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  
  

Repackaging Operations

• Oversee repackaging processes to meet operational, quality, and compliance standards.
• Ensure timely execution of repackaging activities to support business needs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and minimize waste.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure repackaged products meet specifications.
  
  

Order Fulfillment & Logistics Coordination

• Ensure on-time order processing and dispatch to support distribution and customer requirements.
• Optimize loading operations and truck scheduling to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Distribution, Sales, and Packaging teams) to address operational challenges.
  
  

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Define and track KPIs (warehouse efficiency, 3PL performance, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates).
• Drive process improvements to enhance warehouse throughput and reduce operational costs.
• Leverage technology (SAP, WMS) to streamline warehouse and 3PL operations.
  
  

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor the warehouse and 3PL team, providing guidance on operational execution, problem-solving, and performance improvement.
• Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the team.
  
  

Requirements

• With at least a Diploma or Degree in Business/Manufacturing Management/Logistics Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
• Experience in dealing with Customs will be an advantage.
• Familiarity or experience with SAP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage 3PL providers, and optimize warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
