M&E Engineer (Project Engineer)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing and overseeing all Electrical and Mechanical works for all projects.
• Liaise with our colleagues, project engineers, clients and vendor on project requirements and issues.
• Prepare, draw / amend AutoCAD drawing.
• Able to produce own electrical drawings for required projects. Calculate power requirements etc.
• Prepare drawings, technical documentation, site report and correspondence to client and consultant.
• Able to prepare a Bill of Material list (BOM list), which is the list of items needed to make a project (in electrical) workable and successful.
• Familiar with 24VDC, 220V AC and 440 3phase power standards and able to perform design, build and troubleshoot.
• Able to install cables, run wiring, install fixtures in cabinets for PLC, Terminal blocks, instruments, components etc.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test with client and CLASS.
• Perform the troubleshooting, testing and commissioning work at factory, shipyard and offshore.
• Support all project technical enquiries/issues.

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least bachelor's degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
• Required Skill(s): Instrumentation, PLC Control Systems, 220V AC 24V DC Low Voltage Switchboard, AutoCAD 2D 3D, Control Panel and etc. (Basic understanding of PLC but don’t require PLC programming knowledge)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, resourceful, has initiative, self-motivated.
• Ability to read isometric drawing.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Possess own transportation and willing to travel when required and able to work under pressure and meet project deadline when required.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
