Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing our network infrastructure, ensuring network performance, and maintaining network security. The candidate should have a strong understanding of network architecture, routing protocols, and network hardware and software.
- Manage the organization's network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and other networking technologies.
- Ensure network security and data privacy by implementing security protocols and monitoring network activity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions to minimize network downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to network hardware and software.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth operation of network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement network policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance.
- Keep up to date with emerging network technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in network and infrastructure management.
- In-depth knowledge of network architecture, routing protocols, and network hardware and software.
- Familiarity with network security protocols and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and VPNs.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Experience with network monitoring and performance optimization tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
