Job Summary

  • Operations managers plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of an organization. An operations manager is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.
  • To lead the restaurant operations team and supervise Operations Support, IT as well as Repair and maintenance functions to drive the outlet's performance and to establish systems and processes to achieve Operation Excellence in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • The role is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, product & service quality, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies whilst maintaining aggressive financial returns by ensuring that all working methods are reviewed, and best practice implemented in achieving the shared business objectives and sustainable organizational growth.
  • Focus on people management to develop and groom the restaurant team with competent performance while maintaining total employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Coordinate with other departments for all necessary support to achieve center of devotion.

Who are we looking for?

  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
  • Working knowledge of GMP, HALAL, ISO and other quality and safety programs in food processing environments.
  • Food-related certification
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, etc)
  • "Big picture" thinking, which is key to addressing top-level concerns and finding the best path forward from all of the available data.
  • Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, are essential to a role that juggles a variety of functions and projects.
  • A thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles
  • Adaptability, enabling the Operations Manager to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly.
  • Addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction
  • Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively.
  • Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond to timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings.
  • Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues.
  • Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations
  • Successful track record of people development and training; Strong ability to provide leadership, influence others, develop teams, and foster teamwork.
  • At least 5 - 8 years’ experience in a chain restaurant company that more than 20 outlets as an Operation Manager
