Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and ensure adherence to company standard and policies.
• Manage resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimise productivity and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of necessary materials.
• Supervise and develop staff and implement performance management practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain operational records and prepare performance reports.
• Assist in budget management and control operational costs.
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Plantation Management, Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in leading and managing oil palm operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to managing challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, including those related to agriculture, labour, and environmental standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
