Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

1. Maintaining the purchasing policy and ensuring that all purchases adhere to it.

2. Handle all project VO with main contractor & coordinate with related departments.

3. Dealing with supplier, contractors & vendor for price negotiation, stock delivery, product quality & statutory & regulatory requirements.

4. Evaluating suppliers’ performance annually.

5. Handling departmental complaint or feedback on poor product quality, late delivery, wrong items/quantity delivered, etc.

6. Liaison with other departments, particularly the accounting, production, maintenance and stock departments to ensure the request items/ service specification & requirements.

7. Budgeting, costing and cost saving after reviewing the management information available.

8. Health and Safety, Quality and other legal requirements.

9. Overseeing any large procurement that may happen.

Job Requirement:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or relevant qualification.

2. Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint.

3. Good working attitude, responsible and meeting deadline.

4. Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia, Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
