Production Supervisor

Job Description

Our client is a MNC manufacturer of construction materials. They are looking for several Production Supervisors to join their production facilities in several locations across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Supervise and lead production staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Production Planning: Coordinate and plan production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize workflow.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on production performance, including output, quality, and downtime.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum college certificate or Diploma holder in Engineering or related background.
• Strong experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Good problem solving ability.
• Good communication skills.
