Project Cum Admin Engineer

Job responsibilities

1. Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
2. Coordinating and collaborate with the whole project team, contributing and involving to the entire project lifecycle.
3. Work collaboratively with the project manager and team to maximise the productivity and efficiency.
4. Commit to customer requirements by understanding and performing the tasks as agreed in the contract.
5. Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them on the site
6. Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
7. Organize, update, track and monitor schedules and see the datelines with the project team closely.
8. Assisting in monitoring the project budget by compiling and updating the costing promptly.
9. Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
10. Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
11. Assisting in the project procurement such as tools, equipment and others as needed.
12. Assisting in the order inquiry, processing, payment collection and delivery as requested and quoted accordingly
13. Assisting in the data entry in the system promptly to make sure the records are accurate and updated on time
14. Involving and assisting in managing the day-to-day operations of the office by supporting the administrative works given
15. Supporting any ad-hoc tasks of the project when required

Requirements

1. Associate or Bachelor Degree in Engineering. Degree in mechanical engineering will be encouraged.
2. Additional certifications such as project management will be an added strength.
3. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the industry or field. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
4. Excellent Communication & Collaboration – both verbal and written.
5. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD etc.
6. The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
7. People-oriented and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
8. Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving.
9. Collaborative working style and team-player attitude.
10. Able to work independently with little supervision.
11. Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
12. Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment.
