Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Main Responsibility
Main Responsibility
- Supporting the purchasing function at a strategic level to help achieve company objective.
- Responsible for sourcing, cost negotiations, credit term and buying of consumable items, spare parts and miscellaneous.
- Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality;
- Liaising between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant and internal departments;
- Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them;
- Coordinate with various suppliers and compare cost for purchasing requisition (PR) within organization.
- Using SQL software issue purchase order (PO) to supplier, ensure items are delivered in time and to place required.
- Monitoring on suppliers progress - checking the quality of goods and services provided;
- Complain to supplier on pricing, delivery and packaging matters, and follow up for credit note (CN) issues.
- Documentation filling.
- Submission of monthly cost center report to Management
- Responsible to establish Purchasing SOP.
- Any duties assign by the Management from time to time
- Immediately will be an added advantage
