QA Engineer

Quality Assurance

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress for E2E testing.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  
  

DevOps Integration

• Trigger automated tests into the CI/CD process to ensure continuous testing.
• Work closely with engineers to streamline deployment processes.
• Monitor and analyze test results, and provide actionable insights.
  
  

Collaboration And Communication

• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Communicate testing progress, results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  
  

Process Improvement

• Stay updated on emerging QA methodologies and technologies.
• Propose and implement improvements to testing processes and tools.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience with Cypress for automated E2E testing.
• Experience with Bitbucket Pipelines or similar CI/CD tools.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
• Proficiency writing SQL.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
• Experience with other testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is a plus.
