What you need to do?

• Analyze project requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to define application functionality and testing objectives.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and cases, defining the scope and necessary resources.
• Design detailed test cases, scripts, and prepare test environments.
• Execute manual and automated tests, perform regression testing, and manage defects.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing, analysing metrics for application responsiveness.
• Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with standards.
• Evaluate usability and overall user experience, providing feedback for design improvements.
• Maintain documentation of test plans, results, and defect reports, and generate summary reports for stakeholders.
• Work closely with development teams and communicate quality concerns with project managers and product owners.
• Evaluate and enhance QA processes and stay informed about industry trends to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What we need from you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Min 1 year experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software testing.
• Familiar with scripting languages and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is preferred.
• Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Malaysian citizenship required.
