About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Regional Financial Manager to oversee financial operations and reporting across multiple countries. This role is crucial in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, managing audits, and supporting strategic decisions within the region. A strong background in auditing (external or internal) is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance across regional entities, ensuring alignment with corporate and local standards.
2. Consolidate and analyze financial results for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
3. Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans across the region.
4. Ensure proper implementation and adherence to internal controls and corporate governance policies.
5. Manage and coordinate external and internal audits, including working closely with audit firms and country finance teams.
6. Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local tax and regulatory requirements in all countries under your responsibility.
7. Support country-level finance managers and collaborate with business units to drive financial efficiency.
8. Lead regional initiatives to improve financial systems, reporting processes, and operational performance.
9. Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
10. Assist in due diligence, financial assessments, and integration projects as needed.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is required.
2. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2–3 years in external or internal auditing (Big Four experience is highly valued).
3. Proven track record in a regional or multi-country financial management role.
4. Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations across different markets.
5. Excellent analytical, budgeting, and financial reporting skills.
6. Experience in leading audits and ensuring audit readiness.
7. Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across cultures and departments.
9. Fluent in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is an advantage.
10. Willingness to travel regionally as required (approx. 10–20%).
