HT Group is an authorised distributor of Brembo, a world leader in the field of automotive brake systems and components.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager to lead our sales team in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate the sales team, manage complex sales processes, and work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
You will play an important role to
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales planning.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Set performance objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Territory Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Conduct regular sales pipeline meetings to review progress, identify challenges, and ensure alignment with sales goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, forecasts, and market insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts.
- Handle escalated customer issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Oversee purchasing activities, ensuring that inventory levels are optimized and aligned with sales forecasts
- Create and implement competitive pricing strategies that align with market conditions, customer expectations, and company profitability goals
- Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer service.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and trade shows.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Identify new market segments and business opportunities for the business.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have
- Minimum SPM or higher. Diploma/Degree in marketing is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales/marketing, preferably in the automotive or brake systems industry.
- Knowledge of personal computer is essential.
- Can work independently and responsible, pleasant and customer experience focused.
- Possess own transport and must be willing to travel extensively.
- Fluent in Mandarin is preferred as the roles requires to deal with Mandarin speaking client, proficient in English and/or Malay, oral and written.
