SAP COE OTC Business Analysis Expert

Job Description

You will be a senior GTS consultant position, part of the Global SAP Centre of Excellence working on SAP GTS implementation projects. You will lead role for the multiple S/4 roll-outs in APAC region. To assist with the design and implementation of SAP GTS modules across the organization. To understand global and localised business processes and translate legal and business requirements into SAP GTS solutions, Fit-Gap Analysis, Functional Specifications and Configuration Cookbooks. Within a matrix organization you will report to the O2C Solution Architect of the S/4 project in which you participate and to the O2C Operations Lead, APAC

Key Responsibilities

• You will build excellent working relationships with both your IT colleagues and business stakeholders
• You will need to quickly develop good understanding of our SAP template (within 1 – 3 months)
• You will build knowledge of our SBU processes within a short timeframe (1 – 3 months) to facilitate rapid solutioning
• You will evaluate the x-stream impact of any solutions proposed and ensure that SAP standard/our foundational template is followed as closely as possible
• Assist the site achieve and maintain zero recordable injuries by ensuring you follow health and safety guidelines and participate in regular safety programs.
• Ensure adherence to EH&S policy and procedures and any other site-specific safety guidelines.
• To collaborate with an autonomous team in integrating customs advice, customs automation, and cross-border collaborations.
• To provide international experience, legal and operational know-how, and integrated teaming across advisory, trade, and automation.
• To clarify and validate business requirements in the global trade area.
• To understand existing solutions and propose optimizations.
• To design new IT solutions, writing RICEFW specifications.
• Involvement in the Unit Test (UT)/System Integration Test (SIT) scripts preparation and test execution and supporting User Acceptance Test (UAT).
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other business-related field is required. MBA is preferred.
• Min 7 years’ experience with process knowledge of SAP S/4 GTS and SAP SD modules
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including technical writing. Mandarin speaking will be an advantage
• Played a Consultant role in some SAP S/4 implementations for these modules.
• Knowledge of business processes within the Supply Chain and Global Trade Services.
• Experience using SAP Solution Manager toolset for managing changes, transports and incidents would be advantageous
• Experience with ABAP and ability to perform basic debugging
