Purpose of Role:
Tenby International Secondary School is seeking an exceptional Science Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our dedicated and growing team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about learning, confident in their subject knowledge, and driven to inspire young people to say “I can!” as they grow in curiosity, resilience, and achievement. This role also includes tutor responsibilities, supporting a small group of students with their personal development, academic progress, and well-being. Tutors are central to our pastoral care approach and play a vital role in building positive relationships that help students thrive.

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, Kuala Lumpur campus is a large 3-18 school located on a green 20-acre site with excellent facilities and offers a welcoming, inclusive and stimulating place to work. We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary, and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE and A Level) and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The campus welcomes over 2000 amazing students, aged from 3 to 18 years and from 38 nationalities; with 1350 attending the international school, 600 of whom will be in the primary school. We celebrate being Asian and love the fact that we combine international thinking to create a diverse and exciting campus.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related Teaching Qualifications.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience is preferable in an international school.
- Has experience of teaching Science.
- Working with Secondary age pupils role and also we are looking for a flexible team player.
- Enjoys being a team player willing to work with, learn from and help develop others.
- Creative, inspiring, patient, resourceful, and energetic.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
