Now we’re on the hunt (literally) for a Business Development Senior Manager to help us lead the next phase of growth in Malaysia.


About the Role

This role is for builders. For closers. For people who don’t sit around waiting for leads to fall into their lap. They hunt, pitch, and win.

As a Business Development Senior Manager, you’ll take ownership of driving revenue growth across MGAG & HCN by identifying, pitching, and closing opportunities with brands and agencies.

This is not an admin-heavy, post-sale role. We need someone strategic, hungry, and excited to chase the next big thing. You’ll be backed by a top creative team but you’ll lead the charge at the front.


What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):


Accomplish sales objectives by planning, developing, and executing content plans on our creators’ platforms alongside our team.

Pitch and develop new business opportunities with agencies and brands in Malaysia.

Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring brand objectives, creative development, video production, and smooth delivery all come together beautifully.

Drive business development and sales efforts with agencies in Malaysia and across the region, negotiating deals, trading partnerships, and creating opportunities for our products.

Lead in the creation of proposals for client campaigns, working across the full HEPMIL suite of products to develop engaging, goal-driven content.

Maintain strong relationships with external partners, key accounts, agencies, and stakeholders to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Prepare post-campaign reports, and advise clients on learnings and recommendations for future growth.

Stay up-to-date with consumer and social trends, especially within TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other key platforms.

Be hands-on, creative, analytical, detail-oriented, highly motivated, and team-driven.


What We’re Looking For:


5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or client partnerships (preferably in media, digital, or influencer marketing industries).

Proven track record as a hunter, finding, pitching, and closing deals independently.

Existing network of agency and brand contacts in Malaysia is a strong advantage.

Strong understanding of creator marketing, branded content, media sales, and influencer partnerships.

Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Able to connect brand needs with bold creative ideas.

Excellent communicator with presentation and negotiation skills that win deals.

Passionate about youth culture, digital content, memes, creators, and social media.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with room to grow, test, and fail fast.

Leadership mindset, able to work independently while also guiding and mentoring junior BD members.
