Senior Executive / Executive, Actuarial Pricing

Responsible for the actuarial pricing projects and portfolio analysis in BSIB. In particular, develop technical pricing, tracking & monitoring processes to improve profitability and overall product management. Portfolio analysis to identify and monitor developing trends and identify new opportunities.

The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Undertake portfolio analysis for insurance products to support management decision
• Undertake technical pricing projects for insurance products
• Support various data analytic projects
• Support on the pricing of new and existing products
• Preparation of the necessary documentation reports for internal records and external filing
• Support projects that require actuarial involvement
• Support other actuarial units (reserving) as required

Job Specification:

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
• Good progress in actuarial exams from a recognized actuarial society.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the general insurance industry related to job responsibilities
• Good knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Visual Basic, SAS, R, Python, SQL or similar software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding on actuarial principles.
• Ability to handle significant workflow through efficient time management.
