Senior Quantity Surveyor

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reporting to the project team
• Identify potential cost savings and efficiencies throughout the construction process
• Resolve any commercial or contractual issues that arise during projects
• Provide expert advice and guidance to the project team on all quantity surveying matters

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry
• Detailed knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimating techniques
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and commercial management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial information effectively
• Proficient in using AUTOCAD
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
