Sheeter Operator cum Warehouse Assistant

We are looking to hire a Sheeter Operator cum Warehouse Assistant to be based at our headquarter warehouse in Bandar Sunway, Selangor.

Job Responsibilities:

• To operate the sheeting machine (single-knife or double-knife) according to job sheet to cut roll stock to required sheet size.

• To maintain sheeting machine to ensure smooth production (preventive maintenance).

• To monitor the production runs to ensure quality and smooth running.

• To follow production schedules and optimise the usage of the machine for maximum output without compromising quality.

• To record the production output per day.

• To troubleshoot when machine breaks down.

• Ensure all daily dashboards, housekeeping and check lists are completed accordingly.

• Ensure finished goods are not piled under the knife blade at the end of shift.

• Keep machine area clean and tidy all the time.

• Support daily warehouse activities for goods receiving, arrangement, picking, unloading containers and loan items for delivery.

• Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are consistent against the delivery order or packing list.

• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times.

• To operate and ensure proper maintenance of the forklift/reach truck..

• To immediately advise the Warehouse Executive/Manager of any deterioration or damage of goods.

• To perform other duties as requested by the Warehouse Executive/ Manager from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must have completed at least PMR/PT3 or equivalent.

• Candidate with basic knowledge of running a paper sheeting machine (single-knife or double-knife) will be a bonus.

• Candidate has experience driving forklift and reach truck.

• Candidate must be willing to work overtime during busy seasons or to cover absences. Overtime pay will be compensated.

• Candidate has problem solving skills when issues arise relating to the production runs.

• Attentive to details, self-starter with a high level of initiative, strong sense of urgency.

• Punctual, trustworthy and responsible individual with good working attitude.

• Independent and able to work well in a team.

• Good command of English & Malay (spoken)
