Utilities Executive

Responsibilities:

• Operates Utilities plant (Water Treatment Plant, Compressed Air, Cooling Plant, Steam Boiler, CO2 Plant and IETS)
• Executes all Utilities maintenance work. Participate in immediate breakdown repair or to assist in maintenance and overhaul.
• Perform down time analysis and trouble-shooting; and identify the problem(s)
• Utilities Plant and WWTP/IETS CILT execution.
• Conducts Tagging if required or appropriate.
• Execute AM by demonstrating (CILT) standards.
• Optimizes between machine capacity and demand
• Executes emergency procedures
• Continues and follows up on breakdown analysis.
• Supervises service providers for major work.
• Executes troubleshooting
• Utilizes the work preparation room.
• Perform QTL (Quality To Line)
• Perform safety checks by simulating faults especially on Steam Boiler.
• Recommend innovative solutions and to implement through to avoid any product damage or delay production.
• Executes the tagging process, CILT and applies problem solving tools. Participates and starts leading the improvement teams.
• Supports on management of maintenance plans, asset master data, asset performance and cost analysis (asset technical specialist).
• Participates in RCFA (5 why) or organized for his/her team to participate, including training/mentoring.

Requirement:

• Certificate in Boilerman Grade 1 with min. 6 years working experience preferably with 3 years in FMGC. If possess certificate as waste water treatment plant competent person and chargeman certification (A0) will be an added advantage
• TPM / Lean / 6 Sigma, etc.
• Good command of English- written an oral
• PC literate is a must
• Mastered all required skills, knowledge and experience of UZT for foundation level.
• Good knowledge of maintenance engineering, supply and inventory management processes.
• Actively manages, coordinates and supervises service suppliers in Utilities section.
• Boiler operations
• Refrigeration, CO2 compressor, air compressor and water treatment plant operations
• Mechanical maintenance.
• Effluent treatment plant operation
• Basic electrical knowledge.
