Software Team Lead - BSS Testing (MRO AMS)

Summary:
As a BSS E2E test lead, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans to ensure the quality of our products and ensure on-time delivery. You will work cross-functionally with teams, including development, product management, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure efficient and accurate testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and execute test plans and strategies to ensure the end-to-end functionality of all BSS components meets expectations.
2. Analyse product requirements and write test cases, test strategies, and test plans.
3. Manage and maintain test environments, including setting up test data, test scenarios, and test scripts.
4. Execute manual and automated testing, including functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, etc.
5. Analyse test results, identify issues, and assist the development team in resolving them.
6. Work with the development team to track and fix defects to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
7. Manage and optimize the testing process to improve testing efficiency and quality.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to team members to help them improve their testing skills.
9. Collaborate with other departments, including development, product management, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure the entire team is working together cohesively to deliver high-quality products on time.
10. Regularly report on testing progress and results to management, and provide suggestions for improvement.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Familiar with Telecommunication BSS/Fintech E2E Architecture & Business Processes including knowledge of Digital Economy
• Minimum 7 years working experience in consulting role in CRM/Billing/IN/Call Center/BI/SAP. Candidate with telecom experience is preferred.
• Must have a very good knowledge of Telco CRM or Billing products as well as clear understanding of the Business Support System of the telecommunication industry.
• Good understand in TMForum (eTOM), TOGAF.
• Experience in at least 2 Telco CRM or Billing Project life cycles. Skills needed include business requirements gathering and analysis and good understand of CRM or Billing features.
• Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, negotiation skills and interact internally/externally involving people with diversified cultural backgrounds.
