Sourcing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Identification & Development
   • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on product specifications and cost targets.
   • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure a consistent and reliable supply chain.
2. Cost Management & Negotiation
   • Conduct pricing analysis to meet budget requirements.
   • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and implement cost-saving measures.
3. Supply Chain Coordination
   • Collaborate with production and planning teams to align supplier schedules with production needs.
   • Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery and responsiveness.
4. Collaboration with Quality Assurance
   • Support the Quality team during supplier audits and follow-ups.
   • Assist in managing corrective actions for any quality non-conformances.
5. Technical Support
   • Review product specifications and collaborate with Engineering to ensure alignment with supplier capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of sheet metal or metal stamping processes is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
